The five St. Teresa of Calcutta Newman Center properties on West 27th Street now belong to UNK, which will raze them to create parking. In return, UNK has given the Newman Center the site of the former University Tower North for its new facility. The land swap takes effect in 2029.
The St. Gianna Beretta Molla Banquet will begin with a 5 p.m. Mass at the Younes Conference Center North at 707 Talmadge St.
Social hour will be at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the Danielle Rose performance at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $100 for adults or $900 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased at www.lopercatholic.org or by calling (308) 234-1539. The purchase deadline is April 15.
