Occupants of a Blackstone neighborhood apartment building were forced to evacuate for a short time Sunday morning after a sinkhole formed in Farnam Street and the wall of a nearby vacant building collapsed.
A large sinkhole opened up under the former Brother's Lounge located at 3812 Farnam St in Omaha, on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Someone called the Omaha Public Works Department to report the sinkhole about 8:20 a.m.Â
