In an email from a public records request, Kevin Powers, a field engineer with Thomson, Dressen & Dorner, Inc., writes to Tim Papstein, an engineer with Omaha Public Works stating, "The property owner said that the mud infiltrated into their basement through the foundation after the heavy rain storm we had last Saturday morning 6/13/26."
