In what board chairman Todd Rynaski says is opening the door to greater care, the Nebraska Humane Society announced Tuesday it’s changing its spay and neuter clinic into a low-cost pet wellness facility.
The Pet Wellness Clinic, which is expected to open in mid-2027, will offer spay and neuter services, preventive care, vaccinations, dental services and other basic care, with the goal of keeping pets healthy and in their homes rather than surrendered to the Nebraska Humane Society.
