Two brand-new housing development tools were unveiled at a western Nebraska region meeting of 6 Regions, One Nebraska that could speed up the process of establishing new housing units in the Panhandle. These tools — a detailed GIS (Geographic Information System) map and a housing workbook for cities and communities to fill out — were developed specifically for the Panhandle, to streamline the housing development process and attract builders to the area.
