GERING — Fifteen-year-old Ellie Shepperson of rural Morrill, and her mother, Aimee Shepperson, took sewn crayon-holders, pillow cases and other goods out of a box and spread them out on a couch in Andrea Rein’s office on Thursday morning. While Ellie Shepperson has only been sewing for about four years, she has shown steers in 4-H since she was seven, and prior to that she showed ducks. Last fall she was elected president of the Sew Cool 4-H Club, which is currently 20 members and growing.
