One of the greatest football players to ever hail from Nebraska now has a street named after him in the North Omaha neighborhood he grew up in.

Omaha Central football star Gale Sayers in November 1960. During the 1960 season, Sayers gained 1,500 yards and averaged 166.7 yards per game.
