Jocelyn Russell’s bronze “Twice the Heart” Secretariat statue barrels through Lincoln on its way to Paris, Kentucky, where it will be unveiled in the new Secretariat Park.
Jocelyn Russell and her husband Michael are transporting Jocelyn's life-size statue of Secretariat from a foundry in Utah to Paris, Kentucky, where it will be placed in the new Secretariat Park. They were in Lincoln on Saturday.
Artist Jocelyn Russell has done three life-size statues of Secretariat, including this one called "Twice the Heart."
The "Twice the Heart" statue of Secretariat is based on photos of the Triple Crown winner while he was at Claiiborne Farm after his racing career ended in 1973.
