The Lied Center for Performing Arts has officially broken ground on its $35 million expansion project. Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center, said the expansion is designed to set the stage for the future.

Sponsors of nine proposed projects — including one in Lincoln — are awaiting decisions from a state board on whether they can access a portion of a new sales tax.
Fans of "Hamilton," the most attended performing arts event ever in Lincoln, will have another chance to see the revolutionary musical when it returns in April 2027.
