COUNCIL BLUFFS — A rally supporting Vice President JD Vance, Iowa gubernatorial candidate Zach Lahn, Iowa 4th Congressional District candidate Chris McGowan and other Republicans brought a few hundred people to Council Bluffs’ Mid-America Center on Friday morning.

Council Bluffs couple Gary Pettit and Delores Finken attended the rally to show “their continued support for America,” Pettit said before the event.
Pam McDonald stood on a sidewalk near the rally with her sign that said, “FARM BANKRUPTCIES UP 46% IN 2025.”
