The Omaha City Council this month adopted five policies the city can implement now and discussed seven more that would take more time and changes to state law, all aimed at updating how the city uses tax increment financing in redevelopment projects.

Hoppe Development is building the mixed-income Tallgrass Neighborhood southeast of 72nd Street and Capehart Road in Papillion in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
