COUNCIL BLUFFS — After three years of planning and construction, partners in the new $55 million Methodist Jennie Edmundson Behavioral Health hospital held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to celebrate and preview the opening of the state-of-the-art facility, which will more than triple the number of beds for mental healthcare patients at the complex.
