Kerry Eddy, the Lincoln woman who joined Nebraska's smallest political party this year and won its U.S. Senate primary race in May, followed through on her plan Tuesday to withdraw from the race to support Dan Osborn's independent run.
Kerry Eddy, who in May won the Nebraska Legal Marijuana NOW Party's U.S. Senate nomination, announced Tuesday that she had withdrawn from the three-way Senate race that included her, Republican incumbent Sen. Deb Fischer and independent candidate Dan Osborn. Upon her withdrawal, Eddy endorsed Osborn, following through on her campaign pledge to push marijuana party voters to Osborn.
