The Beatrice on the Run runners leave Beatrice Elementary School on Saturday for their 18th and final run of the season. More than 40 children in second through fifth grades completed the route from the school to Hannibal Park and back.

The group got in 17 days of practice together over 10 weeks before Saturday's 18th and final run of the year, about 3.2 miles the school to Hannibal Park and back.
