Two Omaha airports and 19 others in Nebraska are slated to receive federal grants totaling $15.3 million awarded to the Nebraska Department of Transportation for airport improvements across the state.
Funds from a $5.37 million federal Airport Infrastructure Grant announced this week will help to pay for the $65 million glass canopy and road expansion project now underway on the terminal drive at Eppley Airfield.
