Karen Probst stands in her second bedroom at Samaritan Springs Assisted Living that she turned into a sewing room. The quilt is for her great-grandson, who will arrive soon.
Karen Probst has volunteered at the Gage County Fair for over 40 years. She was also a 4-H leader for many years when her children were involved. She worked as the coordinator for open class for 11 years and has volunteered for many years. This year she plans to enter a dozen different quilting projects.
