Kate Anderson, a retired nurse, was recently honored by the Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard for her 42-year career in nursing. Throughout her career, Kate's compassionate and skilled care made a difference in people's lives, providing comfort and hope in moments of pain and despair. Even after retirement, Kate continued to serve as a volunteer in various programs such as hospice care and the Red Cross Disaster Program.

Deb Zobel, president and founder of Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard, recently presented Kate Anderson with a living tribute for her years as a nurse. Anderson served as a nurse in the Holdrege area for 42 years.
