Gov. Jim Pillen called the Nebraska Legislature back into special session Wednesday with a proclamation issued less than 24 hours before he wants state lawmakers to convene.
Nebraska State Auditor Mike Foley wrote state lawmakers to question the mushrooming use of TIF and its impact on property taxes. His staff included Omaha's streetcar project in its analysis.Â
