Recent UNL grad Grady Johnson attended UNL's May 14 commencement ceremony after a tweet he sent was retweeted by Chancellor Ronnie Green. Johnson works on the family farm about three miles west of Holdrege.
Grady Johnson (right) had finished his degree online and tweeted that he would come to commencement only if UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green retweeted his request. Green did, and Johnson attended the May 14 ceremony at Memorial Stadium.
Grady Johnson plans to use his agriculture economics degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to operate his family's farm about three miles west of Holdrege.
