In July 2025, the City of Lincoln announced a project that will reshape O Street. Businesses said they are excited about the project, but also have construction concerns.

The sign is up and the anticipation is building, but cookie lovers will have to practice patience — proving once again that all good things come to those who wait.
Driving through construction zones or scrambling to find a shortcut can be frustrating. The upside is that when the work is finished, roads are smoother, safer and easier to travel.
