A few days prior to Father's Day this year, my dad, Kenneth MacArthur decided that instead of spending it here, it was time to spend it with his Eternal Father in Heaven. After an 11 year journey with Alzheimer's, Dad is now in paradise. He has been reunited with family and friends, and I'm certain he is having many conversations about the Redskins, the Orioles, NASCAR, bowling, and old westerns. Dad's kindness never waned even through his Alzheimer's journey. Even more recently when we were unsure who he recognized, he still had a giant smile on his face. He loved our family immensely. We are so thankful that he is whole and forever happy with Jesus.
