The calf, which is yet to be named, was born on Sunday to Omma, a 12-year-old African elephant, at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

The growth of the elephant herd, which includes the recent birth of Hondo, is part of the zoo’s commitment to the endangered species since its return to Omaha in 2016.
